Welcome to Bison, South Dakota!

Bison is a little town on the prairie located in Perkins County, South Dakota. It bursts a whopping 373 people, according to the 2000 Census. I was raised my whole life in this small town and I'm not really sure what to say about it. There is one school, one post office, one court house, one elecctric company, one bakery, one clinic, but there are THREE bars. Us Bisonites like to have a good time every once in a while! |

We have a town festival every year in the middle of June called Gala Days, which will be a big event next year due to the fact that it is Bison's Centennial! There will be a lot going on and it will be pretty awesome. Make sure to visit Bison's website at www.bisonsd.com. Oh and one very last thing you should know about my home town...
